Daluz Gonzalez Architekten was founded in 2011 as an architectural firm in Zurich and employs 20 people.
Rubén Daluz and Juan González began developing their first projects together in 2006. They work on various building typologies - mostly residential buildings - such as apartment buildings, detached houses and villas.
The tried and tested working method consists of a simultaneous process of different ideas and concepts: all factors that influence the building structure are analyzed and visualized. At the same time, different and often opposing design strategies for the building design are outlined. This results in a large number of possible solutions - so-called prototypes - whereby each variant is discussed without prejudice. An intensive and long-term dialog takes place with the client, during which the prototype continues to gain form and significance and ultimately becomes a precise and specific project as a result of this process.
The precise implementation of these construction tasks is complex today and requires competent specialists in all phases of planning and execution. Experienced experts in construction management and as civil engineers, landscape architects, specialist planners for building services, ecology, etc. are therefore also engaged and coordinated for specific projects.
Daluz Gonzalez Architekten attaches great importance to the joint development of individual living concepts and sees its strengths in its many years of experience and expertise in the design and coordination of the corresponding unique buildings.
